Adventure Time, also known as Adventure Time with Finn and Jake, is an American television anime created by Pendleton Ward and produced by Frederator Studios on Cartoon Channel. Originally based on the same production company's experimental animation series Random for Nick International Children's Channel! The short film produced by Cartoons won the Best Animated Short Film award at the 2009 Annie Awards. After the short film received a warm response on the internet, it was selected by Cartoon Channel and developed into a full-length animated series. It premiered in the United States on March 11, 2010, and premiered on April 5, 2010. The work describes the adventure journey of two good friends - a human boy named Finn and a magical dog named Jake on Land of Ooo.
