The Ray Donovan show is set in Los Angeles, California. Ray Donovan works for the law firm Goldman and Drexler which represents the rich and the famous. Donovan works as a "fixer", someone who arranges bribes, payoffs, threats, and other shady activities. He has all of those methods and more at his disposal to ensure the outcome desired by the client. Ray runs into some problems of his own when his father is released from prison and and the FBI attempts to bring down Donovan and his associates.
